What Is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps children develop meaningful skills by understanding and improving the connection between behavior and learning. At Starbright Centers, ABA is never “one-size-fits-all.” Every program is customized to your child’s strengths, needs, and family goals. Our focus is on creating lasting progress through compassionate, play-based teaching and consistent support across settings where your child lives, learns, and grows.

Center-Based ABA Therapy

Our clinics provide a structured and supportive environment designed to help children build new skills, increase independence, and reduce challenging behaviors. Center-based sessions allow for a blend of 1:1 instruction, small group activities, and social interaction opportunities, all supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

Best for: Early learners or children who benefit from structured routines and peer interaction.

In-Home ABA Therapy

In-home ABA brings therapy directly to your child’s natural environment, allowing skills to be taught where they’re used most. Therapists work on goals like communication, daily routines, and self-help skills while empowering parents to create consistency throughout the day.

Best for: Building independence in daily living, communication, and family routines.

Parent & Caregiver Training

We believe parents and caregivers are an essential part of the team. Through individualized coaching sessions, we teach families how to use ABA strategies at home, manage challenging behaviors effectively, and support skill growth between sessions.

Best for: Families who want to actively participate and strengthen learning beyond therapy hours.

Social Skills Groups

Social skills groups provide a fun and supportive space where children learn to make friends, share, take turns, and navigate social situations through guided play and structured activities. Groups are carefully matched by age and skill level to ensure positive peer experiences.

Best for: Children who benefit from practicing social and communication skills with peers.

School Consultation & Collaboration

Our BCBAs partner with teachers, aides, and school teams to support your child’s success in the classroom. We collaborate on behavior plans, data collection, and individualized strategies to help students thrive academically and socially in their educational setting.

Best for: Promoting consistency and success across home and school environments..
